About

A Food Publication With a Halal Focus

We review what we actually eat, explain what we can verify, and say plainly when something needs checking.

A table set with grilled halal skewers, flatbread and sauces

The Halal Table started with a simple frustration: finding out whether a food is halal usually means trawling forums, screenshots and half-remembered advice. We wanted something closer to a food magazine — well-photographed, carefully written, and honest about what it knows.

What we do

We review snacks, sweets, drinks, ingredients, packaged products and restaurants. Every review leads with a quick verdict, a rating, and clear notes on price, availability and halal status.

What we won't do

We do not issue rulings, and we do not claim a product is halal because it looks like it should be. Where certification exists, we name the certifier. Where it does not, we set out the ingredients, the manufacturer's position, and what you would need to confirm yourself.

Trust is the only thing a review publication really sells.
