The Halal Steakhouse Worth Booking Two Weeks Ahead

Dry-aged, properly rested, and served in a room that understands restraint. Our first full restaurant review of the season.

Grilled chicken plated with vegetables on a marble table in a warmly lit halal restaurant

Halal fine dining has often meant compromise. This kitchen makes the argument that it never needed to.

The food

Char is used as a seasoning, not a finish. Everything arrives rested, sliced against the grain, and sauced lightly enough that you can still taste the meat.

Restraint is the whole trick here, and the kitchen has it.

Final thoughts

Book ahead, order the grill, and leave room for dessert.

Pros

  • Exceptional grill control
  • Warm, unfussy service
  • Thoughtful non-alcoholic pairings

Cons

  • Books out quickly
  • Limited seating for larger groups
